Job Description:

Client Services Representative
 
***Company has experienced significant growth, having doubled in size the last 5 years!***
 
The Client Services team provides first line support to clients, from both the offices as well as from the field.  Successful staff members on the Client Services team must be able to view problems from the client's perspective and deliver accurate solutions to the issues raised in a timely manner.  An inquisitive nature is a must because many problems don't have obvious solutions, and the root cause may be something not obviously related to the symptoms exhibited.
 
The Client Services team needs to be able to maintain "situational awareness" such that they can manage the first level call with the customer, and effectively utilize the team resources across the company required to solve problems, whether the cause requires networking, connectivity, level 2 or development support.
 
Client Services Representatives must maintain a positive and professional attitude under pressure, handle customers who can be difficult and aggressive, and strive to provide the highest quality and effective support service.
 
Requirements:
 
-Scripting skills required (Shell, Perl, etc.).
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Proactive and objective approach to problem solving.
-Ability to perform under pressure.
-Ability to develop a strong working relationship across team other departments.
-Able to manage workload and allow flexibility to accommodate customer needs.
-Develop strong client relationships.
-Strong understanding of the financial markets, and trading and clearing business flows.
-Understand the compliance rules and regulations which govern the financial industry.
-Working knowledge of trading systems and network infrastructure.
-Participate in the team shift schedule and assists with occasional weekend work, out of town, and out of hours escalation as required.
-Series 7, 63, and 55.
